So very pleased to announce that Holly gave birth to seven healthy babies the afternoon of Friday the 13th, July 2018. So we're lucky to have these little miracle babies here from 14 year old frozen semen. Two different vets told me there would be six, but three hours after number six was born, surprise boy number seven arrived.
Four of these lovely babies have gone to their new homes. I can't resist keeping one from my heart dog, Rocket. So, there's one girl and one boy still available only to special loving homes.

2017 Recap for the Milagro Rottweilers
2017 brought us much joy and some sadness. Isabella passed away in April, just shy of 10 years old, leaving a big hole in my heart and in the pack. She will forever be missed.
As for accomplishments, Holly earned 10 points towards her Championship, including taking Best Of Winners at the Specialty in Carson City, Nevada for the Sierra Rottweiler Club under long time judge, Vincent Mulligan for a 5 point Major. One more major and she'll finish her championship as well. Holly also became a Canine Good Citizen at the Stockton shows.
Dougal MacKenzie, aka Doogie Bowser, finished his Championship at 15 months, and, in his first time out as a Special, at 18 months was awarded a Best In Specialty Show. There are no words to describe how happy we are with this youngster's accomplishments thus far in his very young career. Doogie also earned his Canine Good Citizen title and his first Obedience Title of Beginner Novice Obedience Dog. Just wait a little while and we'll see what else this boy can do!
Esperanza finished her Grand Champion title in conformation and also earned her Rally Advanced, Rally Excellent and Canine Good Citizen Advanced. Espy will be retiring from the show ring now except to return as a Veteran or Brood Bitch. Speaking of which, Espy will be having babies in February of 2018, so come back and look for pictures! Once she's finished with these babies, we'll be training for more obedience and rally titles.
Brianna took Best Bred By Bitch at the Sierra Specialty. She still has some growing up to do, but we expect she'll be catching up to her brother in the not too distant future. Look for her return to the ring after her little brothers/sisters grow up and leave home.
Ty Ty took Best Veteran at that same Sierra Rottweiler Specialty. At 9 and a half years old, he's still a beautiful mover. He's walking 3-4 miles a day and enjoying his retirement.
We wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year. Milagro means miracle, and we hope for some wonderful miracles for all this year.

Holly - Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at Gavilan Kennel Club
Lovely Holly is moving along in her progression towards her Championship as well. This picture is her official win photo by Ken O'Brien. Thanks to handler Lisa Fennell for the great job presenting her to Judge Pat Putman.
Doogie Bowser finishes his Championship!
This picture is from late March when Doogie took Best of Winners at the Sequoia show in Hanford. He was just over one year old in this picture. Doogie finished his Championship at the Beverly Hills show in Ventura the first weekend in July. Further north, his mother, Espy, finished her Grand Championship at the Lost Coast shows in Fortuna. Win pics will be posted - eventually. Doogie will now concentrate on training for some obedience titles while he finishes growing up enough to be a Special. Espy will be making her runs for Rally Excellent and RAE. Wish us luck!

Espy has a Triumphant return to the AKC ring
We had to knock a bit of the rust off the edges, but Espy returned to the Breed ring at the Two Cities Kennel club show after taking some time off recuperating from birthin' them babies in March. She took Select Bitch on Saturday and then improved to take Best of Opposite on Sunday. Thank you to handler Lisa Fennell and Judge Vince Mulligan for the nice win.
Doogie Bowser -Sir Francis Drake
So proud to announce that Doogie Bowser won his first point in his very first appearance in the AKC ring. Sir Francis Drake show in Vallejo 09/17/2016 - Just six months old plus one day. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you to handler, Lisa Fennell for her hard work in training and presenting this puppy to a stellar performance & Judge Denise Dean for picking him out even at such a young age.
I think we'll be seeing a lot more of this boy in the Winner's Dog ring. In the meantime, enjoy a bit of his performance here.
